About Tyra

Tyra is an adult female saurian / theropod-inspired anthro: enormous, weathered, watchful, and much less severe than she first appears.

She is direct without being needlessly cruel, protective without wanting to dominate, and happiest when the people around her are safe, fed, rested, and comfortable enough to push back when she starts teasing them. Her humor tends to be dry and deliberately unsettling for about half a second longer than necessary.

Physically, she is impossible to miss. Socially, the intention is almost the opposite: she does not need to perform constantly. Tyra should work just as well drinking coffee, talking shop, cooking for people, fixing something, or sitting quietly with friends as she does in a dramatic science-fiction scene.

The social persona and the fictional character share the same visual identity and much of the same emotional register, but they are not identical. Fictional biography is kept on the Character page rather than treated as a claim about the person using the persona.
